Ingredients

  • 14 oz Cod Liver
  • 5 oz Chicken Thighs
  • 1 tbsp Lard
  • 2 tsp Himalayan Salt

Instructions

  1. Take Cod Liver out of the refrigerator and let it come to room temperature (about 30 minutes).
  2. Season Cod Liver generously with Himalayan Salt.
  3. Heat a heavy cast-iron skillet over high heat. Add Lard and let it heat until shimmering.
  4. Add Cod Liver to the hot pan and sear for 3-4 minutes on each side for medium-rare, or until desired doneness is reached.
  5. Cook Chicken Thighs separately using the same method, or add it during the last 9 minutes of cooking time.
  6. Let the meat rest for 5-10 minutes before serving.
  7. Serve hot, optionally with additional Lard on top.
